Laure Blog Tour Day 5: Emi and Debora!
Today is day 5 of the Laure Blog Tour! And just like in the previous weeks, I’m getting really spoiled with beautiful dress made by amazing bloggers.
Let’s start off with Debora, who used to blog as “Toertjes & Pateekes”, but these days just sticks to being a star on Instagram and Facebook. It’s not hard to figure out why Debora is so popular. She makes beautiful and original creations, stunning photos, has an amazing eye for thrift store fabrics, 9 beautiful kids and foster kids as models, and she must be the blogosphere’s most productive seamstress. As I’m scrolling through her Instagram in preparation of this post, I realize I tend to miss out on about 75% of what Debora makes, simply because she makes so much. Everything she makes is stunning, and so is her Laure hack! Follow her here.
Let’s now fly to Japan, to visit my friend, idol, and all-round beautiful soul Emi Shimokawa. I got to know Emi via Instagram and later Facebook, and up to about a year ago I think, I didn’t even realize she also had a blog: Just Add Fabric. I blame it on Emi’s ridiculous degree of modesty. 😉 Emi’s supportive comments on my sneak peeks of the qipao dress have been a great motivation for me to finish the Laure pattern, and so I was quite convinced she’d make the qipao option. But lo and behold: she made a stunning pussy-bow-and-drop-waist-Laure! Read all about it, here.
