A few weeks ago, I launched the Nova pattern. And today, the blog tour finally starts! I was lucky enough to find an amazing group of bloggers kind enough to participate in the blog tour. Not only will they be showing off their Nova dresses and blouses on Monday; each Tuesday they will also give away a lovely prize on Instagram. Yay!
Today, three Belgian ladies kick off the tour. Mieke is the brains (and balls) behind the popular bag supplies shop K-Bas, but luckily, she also still makes stunning garments. In love with a beautiful peach knit fabric, she decided to hack Nova into a t-shirt (I told you she has balls! ;-)) and the result is jaw-dropping. Visit her blog to see more pictures.
Zoë from Zowiezo has been living the good life in Kuala Lumpur since a while, and I’m very happy that she took her sewing machine with her. I love Zoë’s original, colorful and fun style, and so I was thrilled when she agreed to participate in the blog tour. She made a Nova blouse in a fabric which is very original without being loud, and the honeycomb pleats just give it that extra special touch. Check out her blog to see more pics.
The Nova blog tour wouldn’t be complete without the wonderful Isabel from Bel’Etoile. When I told her months ago that the name of this pattern would be a contraction of my own daughters’ names (Norah and Ava) and that she would probably like it a lot, she immediately understood that the pattern would carry the same name as her youngest daughter. As she always does, Isabel made the perfect fabric choice: a double gauze which is solid at the top (to keep the flat pleats visible) but which has a special border at the bottom. So make sure to check out more pictures of cute little Nova in her Nova, here!
Many thanks to Isabel, Zoë, and Mieke for the beautiful Nova’s, and to Wild van Stof, who is sponsoring this week’s give-away (check my Instagram tomorrow).
You can buy the Nova pattern in my shop, in English and Dutch, and in an electronic and a paper version.
