Today is the second day of the blog tour of Feliz, the dress and blouse pattern I released a few weeks ago. And we have three lovely guests!
Let’s start with Laurence, a.k.a. I Sew Blanche. Superb seamstress, incredible Instagram influencer, fabulous flatlay fanatic, and someone I wouldn’t want to miss on a blog tour. On the previous tour, she went completely rock ‘n roll on the Nova pattern, but this time she said she’d go for a more ‘classic’ look. The look may be classic, but there is nothing predictable or boring about Laurence’s Feliz dress. I absolutely adore the very special and unique fabric she used. Find out more about it, here!
I wasn’t very hopeful that Lies of Liesellove would participate in this blog tour – after all, she’s super busy with her three young kids, job, and ever growing blog and social media presence. So I was really excited when she agreed anyway! Lies is quite likely the official Guinness World Record Holder for having made the most Tinny dresses ever, and I couldn’t wait to see her work her incredible talents on the Feliz pattern. She decided to use one of my favorite Liberty fabrics, and the result is even more stunning than I could have imagined. Check out all her pretty pics, here.
And finally, I’m so happy to refer you to Marjolein’s blog Flaflinko. I’ve been a fan of Marjolein’s beautiful creations for a while now, not in the least the stunning Laure’s she made earlier this year. I’m also deeply jealous of her incredible productivity – it’s amazing how many items Marjolein creates, week after week. She also made no less than 3 Feliz’es, two of which she’s showing off on her blog today. Make sure to pay this talented lady a visit, here.
Thank you Marjolein, Lies, and Laurence for making these stunning dresses!
Would you like to make a Feliz too? The pdf versions are available in my shop, in English and Dutch. The paper version will be available hopefully tomorrow, when my printer’s promised to deliver the reprint of the pattern pages (in the batch delivered last week, they forgot to print pattern page B on the back of page A. Oops…)
