When I saw this beautiful lemons fabric on Etsy, I immediately imagined a sweet summery Tinny dress with a circle skirt. And it was the perfect opportunity to give bow option #2 a try. Or two tries, because the first version was too narrow.
I went for my favorite sleeve again: the integrated cap sleeve, or as I like to call it, the lazy-ass seamstress sleeve.
The nice thing about a bow like this (which I used earlier here) is that you cannot really screw up. A peter pan collar needs to be perfectly symmetrical, and sewn and pressed perfectly so there are no corners. But a bow like this is much more forgiving.
A circle skirt always comes with the obligatory twirling pics. Wiiiiiiiiiiii!
As you can probably tell, we’re still enjoying sunny Arizona. Where the vegetation is slightly different from that in Antwerp…
