With the new Tinny pattern into its last days of testing, I’m taking the liberty to bug you with another sneak peek.
In the five weeks I stayed in Arizona, I made 5 different Tinny dresses. This Tinny is number 4, and the last one I photographed in Arizona. As I’m looking back at these pictures, I realize how much I miss Tucson. With Autumn setting in here in Belgium, the transition from hot Tucson to rainy and windy Belgium was nothing short of depressing. All good things come to and end, I guess.
For the photo shoot we took to my favorite pile of rocks again. I love how this background can create the illusion that pictures were taken in the middle of a rough piece of untamed nature…
… while it is actually just part of the landscaping of the completely artificial, inauthentic gated community we lived in.
After a few minutes of taking pictures, another model arrived to have a look. “Ava too”, she said, and confidently put herself (and her balloon) before the lens.
She left again after a few minutes, but not without waving goodbye to her imaginary fans in true Hollywood style. She even generously granted the paparazzi a little diaper gate. (I know that dress is much too short. But it’s in a Liberty fabric. And I’m not ready yet to throw it into the “Will never be worn again” box.)
Norah, on her part, happily adopted the balloon.
See you later, Arizona. I hope…
