As promised, I have three more Tinny-related projects for you: a lookbook, a blog tour, and a give-away.
tINnySPIRATION lookbook
Let’s start with a little e-book I made. It’s called tINnySPIRATION (yup, that’s the best title I could come up with), and it features 15 creative ideas for making your Tinny dress special. Many of the ideas come from bloggers who used the (pre-)test version. You can flip through the lookbook below, or download it here.
Join Tinny’s Open Blog Tour!
For the blog tour of the Tinny, I thought I’d try something different for once. A blog tour in which anyone with a blog can participate.
The blog tour will take the form of a link party, to which anyone with a blog can add their Tinny. Each Wednesday, I will share the link party, and feature Tinny dresses made by my testers, and two randomly chosen Tinny’s which were uploaded in the past week.
So, you may ask, isn’t this just a restricted version of the weekly Sew+Show link party? Well, not quite. Because here’s the thing. I’m inviting you to not only contribute to the Tinny link party, but to also share it on your blog. No, not a link to the link party, but the actual, complete link party. My hope is that a few dozen bloggers will participate in the blog tour, include the link party in their post, and thus send lots of traffic to each other. The blog tour ends Dec 1.
Sharing the link party on your blog is very easy. Really! All you need to do is include a little piece of text in your blog post. I explain everything in this little document.
So let’s recap how it works:
1. Make a Tinny dress with the new pattern.
2. Write a blog post about it, and include the link party in it, by following these easy instructions.
3. After publishing, don’t forget to add your own post to the link party too.
Would you like to participate in the blog tour, but rather not include the link party in your post? That’s okay. But, if you do include it, you make a chance of winning a really pretty prize. Which brings me to…
Tinny’s Sweet Give-Away!
When I made this Tinny, I had exactly 1 meter left of the coupon I bought at Bellelien. This inspired the idea to start collecting some of the pretty fabrics I used for the test versions, and hand them out in a give-away. A sweet give-away. I collected at least a yard (91 cm) of each of the fabrics below (and in most cases a full meter (1.1 yd).
As you may know, the name Tinny refers to the Belgian children’s book series Tiny. Its main character, Tiny, is a real sweetheart. Always kind and polite, always ready to lend a helping hand, always doing her best to make other people happy. And so, the give-away will be one in the spirit of Tiny’s kindness. In Tinny’s Sweet Give-away, you’ll get a chance to win something, but also to make someone else happy.
So how, when, and what can you win, and make someone else happy too?
To be clear: this is a give-away, not a contest. There is no judge, and no voting. All three winners will be chosen randomly with the help of a random number generator.
The link party
So… who will be the first to add their Tinny to the link party below?
